What QRCage does for you

Scan with confidence. QRCage looks first, so you can relax.

  • A clear verdict on every scan. Safe, Unclear, or Danger, with plain reasons you can actually read.
  • See what the code contains. The full encoded address is shown before anything opens. QRCage does not currently follow redirects to claim a final destination.
  • Use a more restricted viewer. If you choose to continue, a hardened in-app WebView in a separate process blocks downloads and app-jumps, warns about password fields, and clears session data on close. It reduces exposure; it is not a perfect sandbox.
  • Spots lookalike names. Tricks like paypa1.com get called out before you tap.
  • Make your own QR codes. Links, text, Wi-Fi, and contact cards, ready to share.
  • A tidy history. Search past scans, sort them into folders, bookmark the keepers, and add notes.
  • Password-encrypted history export. QRCage Single can export scan history to a file you control. Settings are not included, and this is not cloud backup.
  • Comfortable to use. Dark mode, a quick-settings tile, and launcher shortcuts put scanning one tap away.

That is too long for one QR code. Try a shorter link.
