Delete QRCage data
Current instructions for the Android app and website.
QRCage does not currently offer app accounts
The current Android release stores scans and settings on the phone. It does not provide account creation, cloud backup, household seats, or shared folders. There is therefore no current QRCage app account or cloud vault to delete by email.
Delete local app data
- To remove scan history while keeping the app, open QRCage → About & Help → Clear scan history.
- To remove all QRCage data and settings from a phone, use Android Settings → Apps → QRCage → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall QRCage.
- Encrypted export files are stored wherever you chose to save them. Delete those files separately with your device's file manager or storage provider.
QRCage cannot remotely erase local files or app storage from a phone.
Website waitlist or feedback data
If you submitted an email address through the QRCage website and want that website record removed, email hello@qrcage.com from the same address. The owner must verify this mailbox and deletion process before publication.
If accounts launch later
This page and the app will be updated before account creation becomes available. The updated flow will let account holders request deletion from inside the app and from the web, explain any narrow legal/fraud retention, and delete associated cloud data after identity confirmation. A request-intake form alone will not be described as completed deletion.
